Annual Meeting Email

After numerous attempts with postings and emails, the club has received no nominations from the membership for the FOUR board of directors positions that are open.  As you are aware, our board of directors, as stated in the by-laws, is made up of SEVEN NSSC members in good standing. The primary purpose of the annual membership meeting is to elect new board members to the vacant positions. By our by-laws we are required to have FIVE active board members to conduct business, this gives us a quorum. We can conduct daily business with FOUR active members. The August 27, 2022 has been cancelled/postponed due to this fact.  We will reschedule the Annual Meeting for the month of October 2022 and will be informing everyone of the meeting date shortly.

We have set a deadline of September 10, 2022 for nominations of candidates to be submitted and sent to the board for ballot which will be sent to the membership. Please send nominations to the club email at info@nssclub.org providing name of candidate, email address, and contact number that the board can contact them.

If you have any questions, please email info@nssclub.org so that the board can provide you with answers.

NoteBoard members do not have to reside here year round. Board members can attend meeting via virtual meetings (Webex, Zoom) as we have done this past year.

We need help in planning our future and keeping NSSC financial solid and growing.

PS. Your participation in nomination and voting is required in order to validate the election process.

There are currently several open seats on the board. We are looking for members who would like to help plan this years banquet, help with events and other projects. Please contact the club via phone or email.

Voluntary Contributions

Voluntary contributions are greatly appreciated. Any contribution received is used to offset the club's general expenses, provide funds for equipment maintenance and upgrades, and to fund scholarships. We rely heavily each year on the annual fundraising banquet proceeds to fund our operations, and without the banquet last year and this year, the club is hurting for funds right now. Please donate if you are able. As a registered 501(c)(3) corporation, your contribution is tax deductible and we will send you a receipt for your contribution. You can designate your contribution to go to General Operating Expenses, Capital Equipment Improvements, or Scholarships.
