What Is
The North Star Sportsmens Club? |
The North
Star Sportsmens Club is a non-profit organization. Our focus is to provide the
shooting sports for our youth, families and for our community, thus providing a better
place to live while producing safe, responsible sportsmen and women.
The North
Star Sportsmens Club also sponsors several youth-oriented events and activities, working
with organizations such as the Minnesota Waterfowl Association and the Cub Scouts and Boy
Scouts of America in creating woodduck nest boxes; the Shingobee Timbers Girl Scout
Camp in providing youth firearm safety instruction; The Minnesota Department of
Natural Resources (DNR) in developing a safety program for Youth All-Terrain Vehicle
Riders, and others. The NSSC also sponsors Youth Fishing Contests and awards youth
academic scholarships annually.

Membership
entitles the holder to all the rights and privileges accorded to our members, including
the use of the range and getting the quarterly newsletter. NRA (National Rifle
Association) Members receive $5 credit toward their NSSC membership dues. (Optional:
$5 key deposit).
